► Volunteer Opportunties

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, pursue your passions and make your time at UWS a lot of fun! Whatever it is you may be interested in, you'll be supported by SAUWS staff along the way, if there's nothing here that tickles your fancy but you'd like to be involved or start something brand new then contact volunteer@sauws.org.uk.

Activities Volunteers:

Student volunteers needed on Ayr, Hamilton and Paisley campuses to help deliver SAUWS' ‘Good 4 U’ activities.

Volunteers must;

Be able to engage with students from all demographics,

Enthusiastic about volunteering and getting students active,

Reliable and responsible for the safety of the group they are coordinating,

Able to commit to at least 4 weeks of coordinating the activities on a weekly basis at the agreed times.

'Volunteering for the student association was definitely useful and I gained experience that I'll need in future. Before I hadn't designed websites but this work challenged me to do it. I liked it because it was creative and I like doing that kind of practical work - create graphics etc.
